What is a Work Order and How is it Used in Skala?

A work order is the command that initiates the operational processes of a product. The operational process can be defined as the production stages. In short, the production process begins with a work order created in the system, and a work order contains the instructions necessary for the production of a product. For example, if 500 units of metal plating are to be done, the work order will include the production quantity, required materials, and production stages information.

The created work orders can also be tracked by your operators. You can assign them to specific operations by granting authorization to operators through the users screen. With the operator mobile application, your operators can start, stop, and complete the operations they are authorized for. After the work order is completed, detailed work order reporting can be generated by entering the amount of raw materials used and the quantity of products produced via the operator mobile application.
