Is Skala an MRP or an ERP?
Skala is a new generation Smart Operations Platform that sits between traditional, heavy ERPs and superficial MRP software. It works fully integrated with your existing accounting and finance systems such as Logo, Paraşüt and Mikro, while running work orders, inventory, purchasing and production on the factory floor in real time.
Our operators can't use complex software. Is that a problem?
Not at all. The Skala Operator interface is designed to be simple enough for operators and floor staff to use without any complex training. Operators just tap “Start”, “Pause” and “Finish” on their phone or tablet, and all shop floor data reaches the system instantly.
Does it work with our current ERP or accounting software (Logo, Paraşüt, etc.)?
Yes. Skala doesn't make you throw away your accounting setup. It syncs invoice, contact and stock card data with your current system in both directions, so your accounting team stays in the system it knows while your operations team benefits from Skala's speed.
Can I track subcontracted (outsourced) jobs and processes?
Yes. You can add subcontracted operations (painting, coating, cutting, etc.) between your work order steps. You can include when material goes to the subcontractor and when it comes back, the subcontracting labour cost and scrap directly in the unit cost of the related work order.
